I've been fortunate to know the Lewises for a few years now as we were all the same year at Samford and if you went to Samford, you know that everyone knows everyone!
Bray and I were on the same hall my freshman year and although we weren't super close at that time, we stayed friends though having a lot of mutual friends and random hall activities set by out RA, John Henry. My first memory of bray is when we were all playing "Settlers of Catan" and while playing, Bray was wearing an Iron Man helmet and kept opening and closing the mask.
Fast forward a few months, and Bray and I took a very embarassing photo of us getting ready for ADPi's Mallard dance where we both wore the world's shortest jorts... it was extremely hysterical at the time, but looking back, I am realizing we were just crazy!
When Bray and Alli got engaged, they reached out to me about taking engagement photos. We had a session going all around Downtown Birmingham and Railroad Park. Alli was telling me how comfortable Bray was with me being behind the camera as he usually HATES taking photos, but had a lot of fun with me.
After that, she proceeded, over the course of many months, to tell me how much she loved the photos and wanted to hire me to be their wedding photographer.
The day of the wedding finally came and although there were some last minute changes due to the freezing cold weather. All of the hiccups slowly dissipated as we moved from an outdoor wedding to be inside, but once that happened, the day went off without a hitch, well besides the hitch between Bray and Alli! That is going to continue for a long time to come!
